I had a great time last Friday on Tech News Today with Sarah Lane, Tom Merritt, Erik Lanigan, and Mark Turpin. Topics included the Dell Thunder prototype, the Google movie, Google's Wi-Fi lawsuits, replacing removed Google Street View buildings, and more as described here. If you haven't yet subscribed and/or tuned in to Tech News Today live, weekdays at 2:30 p.m. Pacific, you should. It's informative, fun, and polished (they, like, prepare) — what more could you ask?

It was fun and a huge honor to be on TWiT yesterday with Jeff Jarvis (whose forthcoming book will be fascinating), Jake Jarvis (who is simply amazing, I get all Jewish Mother just thinking about him), and of course the unparalleled Leo Laporte. Topics included Google's and Verizon's net neutrality policy statement, Oracle's new lawsuit against Google and its open source licensing implications, a fun discussion about privacy expectations and mug shots, quitting your job in a very public way via the Internet (or pretending to), and more as described here and here.  If I watched it I'm sure it would too thoroughly destroy my illusion we were just shooting the breeze in Leo's living room — so please do so in my stead.
